About Us

Moriah is the founder and owner of Communion; local to CCTX and established in 2020. In early 2019, Moriah was diagnosed with an extremely rare and unexplainable scalp condition. Upon diagnosis, she was given an antibiotic that was unsafe and uncooperative with her body and reproductive health. Later that year, during a worship service at her church, she was prayed over, baptized in water, and miraculously healed by Jesus. After her healing, she began a journey in clean living to protect and care for the body the Lord has given her.  She began swapping out so many products in her home but couldn’t find a substitute for her favorite candles. In this journey, Communion Home + Beauty was born. 

Communion Home + Beauty exists to provide a handcrafted fragrance for every moment of everyday life. When you light one of our candles, we hope it’s what you need it to be in that moment: a sweet conversation between friends, an intimate moment, a beautiful encounter with God.
